SpiritQuest 2010 is a nine session confirmation experience.   The primary goal is to help youth to make firm their commitment to follow Jesus Christ.  SpiritQuest is also a rite of passage for youth entering into young adulthood, when they are asked to accept their own individual responsibility for their relationship to God.  

 

By remembering their baptism, confirmands are invited to reflect upon all the ways they have been loved by God even before they understood that love.   By seeking and searching the scriptures, confirmands are invited to encounter a personal relationship to the Living God.   By conversing with confirmation mentors, confirmands are invited to see the way their decisions now may shape the rest of their lives.  By their encounters with Christ in confirmation, confirmands are called to make firm their own personal faith decision to follow Jesus Christ.
